We seriously need your help. Here's how you can aid us. We need: Vector map of Tellus [the planet Earth]. We have only a cheap bitmap one. The "Southlander" movie with Beck in it. |
And these are the questions on our minds: When I drag and drop some songs into Winamp from Windows Explorer why do they arrange themselves in such a peculiar order instead of the order they have in the Explorer window? Does someone know of a mouse and keyboard that are chordless and have usb connections for recharging the batteries? I'm so tired of taking the batteries in and out all the time. To suit my taste the keyboard should be ergonomic and the mouse should be symmetric to be equally usable for the left and right hand. Does someone have an ActionScript syntax highlighting that works in a swf file? Does someone know of a way to open .exe files directly instead of saving them in the Firefox browser? Some applications that I use only work when I turn Norton Firewall off, even though I have added them to the list of allowed apps. What is the solution to this problem? Does someone know of a good web-cam application? I have a Creative sound-card. There's supposed to be a lot of sliders in the Windows mixer. Sometimes they are there, but most of the time only a few sliders appear, and so I cannot use all the inputs. What is the solution to this problem? Why does the FTP upload function in Macromedia Dreamweaver only work once in a blue moon? I use the latest version, Dreamweaver 8 and this problem have been present in all versions, since the ftp support was introduced. I have a dvd drive on one of my computers. The other computer does not have a dvd drive. Is it possible to play a dvd from the computer with the dvd drive on the computer without a dvd drive? I've shared the drive and mapped it as a network drive. Doesn't help at all. I use PowerDVD 6. There are some files on my hard-drives that are hidden, but when I right-click them and choose Properies, I'm not able to uncheck Hidden. Does anyone have a trick to fix this? I'm wondering about these dots on turntables that indicate if the pitch is right. I'd like to emulate this in Flash so I need to know how they work. Any input on this is greatly appreciated. This is what I already know: The dots appear to stand still when the rpm is correct. There are usually four lines of dots, indicating the speed for 33 rpm at 50 Hz, 33 rpm at 60 Hz, 45 rpm at 50 Hz and 45 rpm at 60 Hz. If you don't have a dot-indicator [I don't know the proper word for it] you can use a strobe disc. I've seen these with also 16 rpm and 78 rpm. These are discs that you put on the platter like a record. When you adjust the pitch higher than standard rpm, the dots appear to drift to the left. When you adjust the pitch lower than standard rpm, the dots appear to drift to the right. I'm wondering about stuff like is there only a particular number of dots that work and so on. I use Outlook Express for email and newsgroups. I like to have a lot of folders. At one point I was thinking I would like to use subfolders as well. Turned out, I didn't want subfolders after all. Now I'd like to get rid of the folders with the subfolders. Sounds easy huh? Think again. It's not possible to mark multiple folders, so I have to drag the subfolders one by one all the way to the top [to the inbox that is]. This takes hours. Actually days. Who has an easier solution? Is there a way to either export an html page as an image or pdf, or capture the entire page, not just the part that is 'above the fold'? |
