Tuesday 19-11-2002 DAY SEVEN
I took a bus back to Sarpsborg and got a ride back home.

Monday 18-11-2002 DAY SIX
Later I went and played on the street in København. That was cool. Found another great place to sleep.

Sunday 17-11-2002 DAY FIVE
Nothing important happened today. Had a good time at a place outside Christiania.

Saturday 16-11-2002 DAY FOUR
Last night was one big party of Sort Guld, whiskey and playing pool. I won some money playing Black Jack / 21 and became quite friendly with the natives including two most adorable and sexy Sweedish girls. I handed out some "flame-ep" 12"es to record stores and got some stickers for my guitar and stuff in return. I snaped some photos with my newly aquiered Canon Ixus today as well. Back downtown I met my good friend Christer E. We hung around shopping for a while and talked coding and hacks. Gøteborg is extremely crowded today and we ran into about 10 other people from Fredrikstad as well. Then came a new experience: Vanilla Coke, the real thing from Coca Cola Company. Yum! My nice spot in Nordstan was taken by an Indian. You can't battle those people, so I went looking for another spot. Played my songs outdoors in Gågatan followed by a jam with a Sweedish lady in Nordstan including guitars, vocals, harmonica, flute and beatbox. That was fun, but I soon had to leave for København as I had bought a train ticket. This train is very lux. spacey and hi-tech. Electricity to recharge my batteries, food, beer, wine and cool short stops in the various cities including Helsingborg and Malmø. Also a couple of girls invited me to play my set and have some free food at this new place. I'll try to get back to you on the way home, but for now I have a date with a big fat joint in Kristiania. That's what I told the friendly speed freak who was going to go with me, but split the train last minute. Maybe that was for the best.

Friday 15-11-2002 DAY THREE
I had been sleeping outdoors again under a place called Valhalla sportstribun. When I woke up I found a womans purse and returned it to the police. She came down and gave me 200,- so now I'm having myself a great meal. MC's log supplemental: No concert today, but after checking in to a place [Vandrarhem] in a particularly cool part of the town called Stigberg, I've showered, washed my clothes, etc. And I'm now drinking at a bar across the street. This place is crowded with record stores and cafe's and even have these mixed stores that I fancy. Like records and drinks, music and coins, magazines and wine and such. It seems the Sweedish music scene has improved drastically in recent years. Even the stuff on the stereos at bars aren't really that anoying anymore. Cheers brothers! I must check out at 11:00, but this place costs only about 200,- a night. This new tune I'm writing and playing has the title "Ghost?" The transport / trains are "free" like in Oslo. Noonish tomorrow I'm back playing Nordstan again. Prior to leaving I sold aprox. a m³ of records to a crazy and cool friend, Vegard T. And today I got the first 1.000,- Total earnings 11.500,- Don't worry about me.

Thursday 14-11-2002 DAY TWO
Woke up late in the day and had breakfast. Bought myself a bottle of red wine and went back to my nice place at Nordstan. These are the songs I've been playing: "I'm Gonna Make It Back Into Your Arms", "Today", "We Be Dancing", "Waiting For A Superman" [orb. The Flaming Lips], "Something To Believe In" [orb. The Ramones], "Don't You Know?", "Go Lil' Camaro Go" [orb. The Ramones], "Tiger City Blues / Such A Long Time", "It's Coming Back To Me Now", "Beats Of Our Hearts" and a couple of new tunes that I'm still writing. Earned many coins and even a bill. I might have to stay in this friendly city for a couple of more days before going further south. I'm writing this pen on paper, and when I get close to a computer I'll type it.

Wednesday 13-11-2002 DAY ONE
The journey begins. I'm on the train between Trollhettan and my first destination Gøteborg. I have beer, food, clothes, chewing-gum, guitar, extra strings, camera, cellphone, Leatherman knife, sleeping bag, nice new jacket and hat, money, pen and paper, shades and credit card. When I left Norway we had lots of snow and below 0 degrees C. Sweeden is a lot warmer, no snow. First thing to happen as I walked out the train was I met this guy saying something like "Hey, what's up? I've seen you on TV. Come sleep at my place tonight. Here's my phone number."! What a warm welcome. I sat down in Nordstan [previously 5'an] and played my songs. Sure thing, I hadn't played many chords before the Sweedish money came rolling in. After an hour or so a Russian fella named Dimitrow came by and we went to a bar. Couple of bears and a fearly interesting conversation later I went to sleep in a park.

Spent a nice weekend in Fredrikstad. Saturday there was a great surprise birthday party for my pal Vegard Tillung on XO. An unnamed Kiss tribute band including Jo from Parasite played 11 classics. I provided light equipment, did the soundcheck with the band, mixed the audio and played a couple of records. Thanks to Martin M. and Thomas at NST for lending me the lights, Håkon P. for mixing the lights and taking care of electricity issues, U-Båt and Martin for rigging duties and Tore and the XO crew for excelent service. The audience was big and in high spirits. Lars G. and Stig of Kiss Army Norway jammed with the band and so did Vegard himself. All the guys rocked the house. This was one great evening of beers, rock and loadsa nice people to remember.

Catching up with U-Båt: We have five new recordings from the Submarine. This is kick-ass music with kick-ass rap. I'm now producing skitz for his solo debut cd ep, set for release later this year. Exciting.

Been added to another station on mp3.com: Sirk's Ambient Stratospheres XIII.

Wavelab upgraded to version 4.

Hans and I are heading for Hanover, Germany on Wednesday, primarily to attend the CeBit expo. See you in a week's time.

Internet aided remixing [IAR?!] is rockin' the web. Some weeks back I was following endles searches and more or less giving every remix-kit I could find a spin. Today I have 20 something packs on my hard-drive that I haven't even listened to! This stuff has me so jazzed up I'm actually writing an extended article. Come back to read it when it's finished. I still want as many remix-kits as you people can give me. Loadsa mixes are in the works. Remember that you can remix Flamenco Peko. Check out this forum: www.electronicbboard.com/forum_list.cfm?CFApp=2&SelectedForum=8. It's a revolution people...

Grab this bootleg: Madonna vs The Beatles - "Music" vs "Come Together" 110 bpm. Reviews at madonna.acidplanet.com/Lounge/Detail.asp?PID=1638. It's a rough mix, but a chill break for the hard working remixers! It's also my first vs mix. Made with Acid3. Mastred in Wavelab3. No additional instruments or fx were used.
