Friday 23-11-2007 Thanks to Jonas for cell-phone video-footage from my performance at Speilet. I'll try to make it available somehere. We've installed a simple outdoors sound-system at Centrum Match, which is my father's shop, to spread some christmas music and hollidays spirit to bywalkers. It's here in the same building as Focus, Farmannsgate 1. |

Tuesday 06-11-2007 The gig at Speilet went well. I used two players, two mixers and ten effects. I bought two new ones at Musikanten. Thanks to Jørgen for all his help. I played also a more silent, shorter set between the two bands. I'm invited to play an acoustic set there later. The RAM on PC1 have been upgraded to 2 GB. We're well underway with that new DnB campaign called Sparadiset. Kim Amundsen play a guy called Truls. By popular demand we now have new Flamenco Peko buttons. Price: 10 kr. We've also made a special limited edition 5 piece set of Focus Studios buttons. They have F, O, C, U and S on separate buttons, and come in a small plastic bag. 10 x 5 = 50 kr. All these new buttons are blue on black and are made by the ever amazing local bandidos in The Crypt. |

Sunday 30-09-2007 I played some records and percussion at the Høstfest 2007 event at Balaklava. I was onstage for about an hour, and we had a great time. |

Friday 28-09-2007 See you all at Balaklava tonight. Confirmed DJs are Dennis, Magnus, Stian, Kim, Ole and Robert. Jose Leguina is playing with his band. Doors open 19:00. I intend to spin local / Norwegian stuff. Also I'm helping out at Dean as usual. Summer has come and gone, and The Crypt kicks off fall 2007 with a [free] Yum Yums concert. Those are your two reasons to not stay home tonight. |

Thursday 16-08-2007 Pablo Pækkis and I played records at Dean yesterday. We have DJs at the pub every wednesday now from 22:00 to 02:00. No cover charge. Don't stay at home! I'll be selling merchandise at the Apoptygma after-party at Hawk tomorrow from 22:00. |

Tuesday 29-05-2007 The bronson comet lighter gig is arranged by The Crypt. We have Crypt / Dean A3 posters and flyers around town, promoting the concert on Friday. This one is also a splash on the band's web site. We've also cooked up a new splash that will be uploaded post-gig. Ivan Syversen himself is photographing and Knut-Ole Ringstad is recording. I'm mastering some tunes for the long-awaited album from the amazing Hornorkesteret. My beautifully girlfriend, Tina, was 21 years old yesterday. I'm making an album called "Songs For Tina". We'll get it out one way or another. Knut is recording. Happy birthday babe! I love you. |

There is a Månen start-up meeting thing at four o' clock at Pensjonatet in Gamlebyen. I've mastered two new Disco 3 tunes called "Klapp I Henda" and "World Music". Both instrumental and vocal versions. These should be available at their MySpace site tonight. |

Friday 04-05-2007 bronson comet lighter - "gulstad live" is out! The 250 copies appear to be in perfect order. This is ten songs with vocals on all tracks, along with some skits on a 45 rpm black vinyl 12". You can have it for 150 nkr. More details are coming at you soon. We're mastering two new Disco 3 songs here tomorrow. I'm helping out at Dean somewhat more than before, and would like to remind everyone to show up at the free concerts that take place there every friday. We're translating the DnB campaign to English. |

Thursday 26-04-2007 Yo. That 22-03-2007 Disco 3 concert I mentioned was canceled. However I did go with the band to that rehearsal at Hausmania. That was great. We had a real good time, and the band used the unmastered 'tape'. I taped a lot on a DV cam. I've yet to see the result, but they have promised me a copy. Next up we mastered those six tracks at Focus and then there was a concert at the very same place a few weeks later. This time with the mastered version. I was there for the sound-check, mainly to listen to the eq'ing I had done, and so forth on the PA. This was very interesting because I haven't done a lot of 'live-mastering' previously, and we were all pleased with the result. The guys are also dj'ing around town, so catch 'em if you can. Moving on, we'll master versions complete with scratches and vocals. These will show up at myspace.com. The new bronson comet lighter album has been shipped from the factory. The band is rehearsing and stuff and there will be more recordings soon. Legends never die! We did not get our old rehearsal space back. To the contrary, Ryen completely removed it, in favor of making three more parking places. Not what I was hoping for, but better than having that old hovel slumming up the backyard. There will be a meeting for record labels in Østfold at Verdensspeilet in June. A lot more on this soon. Thank you very much to Japan Foto for giving me quality flights [boxes, not tours] for free, as well as always great service! My guitar is missing! I'm not sure if someone stole it, or I lent it to someone while being too drunk or whatever, but it is gone. I'm talking about my Vintage electrical guitar that Georgi gave me. It's a Stratocaster shaped sunburnt [brownish] guitar with lots of stickers. If someone knows anything about this, please help. I also lost my Nokia N70 cellular the same day. Not too cool at all. I can however be reached at 976 88 160 again, thanks to Thomas who has lent me his Sony phone. Thanks. I've made a website for Frii. See frii.no. Architecture stuff. Tuesday 06-03-2007 I've ordered a Matrox TripleHead2Go box, in an effort to get the three monitors on PC1 up and running again. My laptop was stolen again. I have a stove, that anyone can have for free, if you come here to pick it up. Thanks a lot to Otto for giving me his LOUDER Guitars guitar and Peavey Blazer amplifier. We're compiling a new Crypt record tomorrow. This will be volume 12. |

Wednesday 28-02-2007 Too late to which you a happy new year, but finally I'm back with some ramblings after installing a new 400 GB hard-drive and some hard-drive coolers. Thanks to Marius S. for the coolers. Here we go again. Disco 3 are playing at Børsen, Moss, 22-03-2007. I'm working on a possible mirror ball logo, and we'll be mastering some new tunes here soon. Come see us. The Oowees have a new album ready, I went by Glenn's tattoo shop just now, and got an advance sealed and fresh copy of the compact disc. I've previously mastered three of the songs included, but they have been mixed and mastered from scratch, so this is not a Peko related release. Lydmuren have mastered the whole album, and I'm looking forward to comparing our efforts. Glenn also admitted to have forgotten me on the thanks list, so I'll have to spank his ass next time I see him around, which will probably be at the release party at Dean Bar 16-03-2007. The new bronson comet lighter album is being pressed in Tsjekkia right now. I'm working on getting our old rehearsal space back. This could be a great addendum to the studio. |
